Making these marshmallow Hello Kitty's for hot chocolate for my daughters 4th birthday party. Making a cake and cupcakes also. These were super simple to make. using the end of a large marshmallow and food writers draw Hello Kitty's face. Then cut a mini marshmallow on the diagonal and place the sticky side on the large marshmallow for the ears. Add to a cup of pipping hot chocolate for celebratory fun!

Frozen Cranberry Salad
The recipe for Frozen Cranberry Salad is a great addition to your holiday menu. It is a great alternative to plain cranberry sauce.
1 8 oz brick of cream cheese
1/4 cup Mayo or Miracle Whip
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 20oz can of crushed pineapple drained
1 cup diced bananas
1 8oz tub of cool whip
1 can whole cranberries
In a bowl blend together Cream Cheese, Mayo, Lemon Juice and Salt. Blend until creamy. Mix in Pineapple, banana,. Fold in the cool whip. Once all that is mixed together add the can of cranberries. Stir until blended. Spray loaf pan or 8x8 pan with nonstick spray. Pour into pan. Place in freezer. Remove about 15 min before serving. Place in warm water to loosen the sides.Slice and serve.
I hope you enjoy this addition to your holiday table. The recipe was given to me by my mother in law when I prepared my first Thanksgivings meal in 1997. It has graced out Thanksgiving and Christmas tables every year since.

Nutter Butter Snowman
Start by melting 4 squares of vanilla Almond bark (this is what I used.) or white candy melt.
dip the nutter butter cookie into the melted almond bark. Place on parchment paper until the coating hardens.
Decorate using Icing pens and mini M&M's
These make a really cute display. I decorated each one differently, giving them their own little personalities.
Be sure whomever you share these with does not have a peanut allergy!
Enjoy!

Oyster Cookies
These cookies were made for a beach themed Vacation Bible School. They are really easy and very cute.
First, take 2 mothers coconut cookies. Smear one with pink icing. Place a yogurt raisin on the frosting. Place the other cookie on top with the backs touching. Using a black gel icing pen draw the eyes.
These cookies are fun for any beach themed party. Enjoy!

School Bus Treats
Another easy and fun treat. I made these for the last day of school 2011. The kids, and their teachers really enjoyed them.
To make these you need:
Rice Kripy treats
yellow candy melt
Hershey Bar
mini Oreos
1.Cut a small square out of one corner of the rice krispy treat.
2. Melt the candy melt in a bowl, in the microwave. 2 minutes on 50%. stir. If not completely melted then microwave for 30 seconds intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
3. Dip one side of the treat into yellow candy melt.
4. Break a Hershey chocolate bar into rectangles.
5. Place one rectangle of chocolate on the top of the treat like the side windows of a bus.
6. Place 2 mini oreo's on the bottom of the treat as wheels.
7. Let the candy melt harden.
8. Enjoy.

3. lightly frost the top layer.
4. Apply the fondant so that it overlaps one end of the cake like a popcorn bag.
5. dampen the fruit by the foot and apply in strips the length of the cake.
6. Insert the caramel corn into the end of the cake where the fondant overhangs.
